The Fall Of Medusa V Warhammer 40K – Part 4 (Part 4 of 4)

Aftermath of the Medusa V Conflict

The fate of several factions hangs in the balance after the devastating conflict on Medusa V. The consequences of their actions will have far-reaching impacts on the galaxy.

Dark Eldar: A Leader’s Downfall

No’akei, the Dark Eldar leader, had achieved great success in capturing slaves for the dark city of Commorragh. However, upon her return, she was met with betrayal in the Hall of Blood. Her ultimate fate remains a mystery, leaving her followers in disarray.

Orks: A Narrow Escape

The Ork forces, led by Nazdreg, were forced to flee Medusa V after their space hulk Scylla was lost. They managed to commandeer a bulk freighter and trick an Imperial battleship into evacuating them. The fate of the battleship remains unknown.

Tau: A Delayed Expansion

The Tau expedition’s goal of gathering information about the warp was largely successful. However, analysis of the data revealed that further research would be infeasible, leading to a delay in the Fourth Expansion of the Tau Empire. Many humans joined the Tau Empire, but at great cost, including the loss of Commander Shadowsun’s sibling.

Tyranids: A Disorganized Swarm

The Tyranid swarms on Medusa V were unable to make any headway in taking the planet. Imperial officials believe that the diversity of opponents contributed to the Tyranids’ inability to progress. A captured Death Leaper creature has since vanished, and the Hive Fleets orbiting the planet have become abandoned bulks floating aimlessly.

Necrons: A Curse

The leading Necron Lord, the Herald of the Storm, was left behind on Medusa V, cursed by the Deceiver to remain for as long as the planet endures in the warp. The remainder of the Necron forces were teleported away along with the Deceiver, leaving the Herald to face his “True punishments”.

The aftermath of the Medusa V conflict has left the galaxy in a state of uncertainty, with many factions facing an uncertain future. The consequences of their actions will be felt for a long time to come.
