The Imperial Fists Chapter has long been a bastion of unyielding resolve and unwavering dedication to the Imperium of Man. Early Triumphs (M41)
In 790.M41, the Imperial Fists participated in the Nimbosa Crusade alongside the Black Templars, reclaiming the planet from the T’au Empire. Although heavy casualties were incurred during the battle of Koloth Gorge, the campaign ultimately ended in success.
The Tyros Gulf Campaign (830.M41) saw Chapter Master Vladimir Pugh lead two-thirds of the Chapter in a series of battles to retake worlds conquered by Rogal Dorn during the Great Crusade. Despite being ambushed by Eldar forces, the Imperial Fists emerged victorious.
Unwavering Resolve (M41)
The Krandor Rebellion (853.M41) prompted the Imperial Fists, Fire Lords, and Revilers to respond, successfully evacuating important artifacts before enacting Exterminatus. The Crimson Fists were tied for supremacy at the 814th Feast of Blades (949.M41), while the Siege of Fort Mork (955.M41) saw the 4th and 9th Companies face down an Ork mega-stronghold.
Purging the Xenos (M41)
The Purging of Ganymede (959.M41) and the scouring of Malodrax (966.M41) demonstrated the Imperial Fists’ unwavering commitment to eradicating xenos threats. Lysander’s leadership during the Invasion of Taladorn (969.M41) was marked by recklessness, resulting in censure and temporary stripping of his First Captaincy.
Rebuilding and Redemption (M41)
As part of his penance, Lysander was tasked with rebuilding the 3rd Company and undertaking the Crusade of Thunder against the Orks. Following the campaign, Tor Garadon was promoted to 3rd Captain, and Lysander returned to his First Captaincy.
Leadership and Sacrifice (M41)
Chapter Master Vladimir Pugh fell in battle against Tyranids on Drashin (970.M41), and Vorn Hagan assumed leadership of the Chapter. The Fall of Malodrax (971.M41) saw the Phalanx itself battle Warsmith Shon’tu, while the Ghallamore Cleansing (975.M41) was a decisive victory against daemonic hordes.

The Imperial Fists continued to defend the Imperium against numerous threats, including the Night Lords, Iron Warriors, and Tyranids. The Defence of Alamanis, the Triumph at Victorix (994.M41), and the Defence of Miral II (997.M41) all demonstrated the Chapter’s unwavering resolve.
The Battle for the Phalanx (999.M41)
As the 13th Black Crusade raged on, the Imperial Fists defended the Phalanx against a daemonic boarding action led by Iron Warriors Warsmith Shon’tu and the Daemon Be’lakor. Captain Tor Garadon’s leadership and the arrival of the Legion of the Damned proved crucial in repelling the assault and safeguarding Holy Terra.
