Leviathan Warhammer 40K – Part 2 (Part 2 of 6)

Galactic Conquest and Chaos

In a desperate bid to slow the Tyranid advance, Inquisitor Kryptman ordered a galactic cordon to be established. This drastic measure forced the evacuation of numerous worlds and the destruction of others, leaving countless Imperial citizens to perish. The cordon did, however, succeed in slowing the Tyranid swarm’s relentless march across the galaxy.

The Octarius War

Undeterred by his expulsion from the Inquisition, Kryptman hatched a plan to harness the Tyranid threat and turn it against the Ork Empire of Octarius. He led a series of daring missions to capture live Genestealers and plant them on a Space Hulk, which was then directed towards the Octarius Empire. As the Genestealers awoke, they drew a tendril of the Tyranid swarm towards the Orks, sparking a devastating conflict.

The Battle for Ghorala

The Orks fought valiantly to repel the Tyranid invasion at Ghorala, but a single bio-ship managed to break through their defenses. The Tyranids cunningly adapted their tactics, slowly gathering strength and numbers before launching a decisive assault that crushed the Ork resistance.

Escalating Conflict

The war soon spread to Octarius, the central world of the Empire, and beyond. The Tyranid Swarmlord joined the fray, and the conflict continues to escalate. Kryptman’s plan to pit the two xenos species against each other has backfired, as both sides grow stronger with each passing day. The ultimate victor will emerge more powerful than ever before.

The Devastation of Baal

As the Tyranid swarm continues its relentless march across the galaxy, the fate of countless worlds hangs in the balance. The devastation of Baal, a planet ravaged by the Tyranid invasion, serves as a grim reminder of the horrors that await those who dare to resist the swarm.
