Ushoran, once the greatest champion of Nagash, was brought low by a cruel twist of fate, while Katakros, an immortal demigod of war, bolsters his Ossiarch Legions with iron resolve.
The Ossiarch Legions: Armies of Bone
Vokmortian oversees the harvesting of bones used to create the Ossiarch Legions, the armies of the dead. These legions are bolstered by the iron resolve of Katakros, who leads them into battle with unwavering dedication.
The Nighthaunt: Spirits of the Dead
The Nighthaunt legions are commanded by the mistress of Doom Crag, who possesses a misery that projects from her in deadly waves. Her spirits are bound to the spectral fortress of the Crimson Keep, where they await the call to battle.
The Daughters of Morathi
Morathi, the High Oracle of Khaine, commands the temple-stronghold in the Valley of the Oracle’s Eye. Her daughters, including the Slaughter Queen of the Kraith sect, perfect the art of coating weapons with Nagendra venom, which causes a victim’s blood to boil.
The Order of Azyr: Champions of the Storm
The Order of Azyr, led by the Thane of Clan Halgrimm, marches out of Azyrheim through the Clarion Realmgate, seeking to claim the Face of Khaine, an ancient artifact forged from Ur-Gold. They are joined by Warrior Priests, who establish hospices in the ruins of the first Grand Hospice of Demesnus.
