Warriors and Leaders of the Warhammer World
The Warhammer world is filled with legendary warriors and leaders who have shaped the course of history. From the mighty Orc Warbosses to the cunning Skaven lords, each faction has its own heroes and villains.
Orc Warbosses
Azhag the Slaughterer was one of the most feared Orc Warbosses in recent history, bringing ruin and destruction to the northern lands of the Old World. Gorbad Ironfist led a massive invasion that almost crushed The Empire, slaying Emperor Sigismund and wiping the Imperial province of Solland off the map. The Once and Future Git is one of the most powerful and feared Orc Warbosses in the Warhammer world, leading the mightiest warband of Black Orcs in existence.
Skaven Lords
The Skaven are known for their cunning and ruthless leaders. Wurrzag Ud Ura Zahubu, also known as Da Great Green Prophet, is an enormously powerful Savage Orc Great Shaman. Boneripper is the bodyguard of Thanquol, and when one dies, it’s quickly replaced by another with the same name. Lord Skrolk is a Chief Warlock of Clan Skryre and the emissary of Lord Warlock Morskittar, one of the Lords of Decay.
Empire Heroes
The Empire has its own share of heroes, including Magnus von Bildhofen, commonly called Magnus the Pious, who was one of the greatest leaders and heroes of The Empire. He was elected Emperor in 2304 and ruled until his death in 2369 IC. Grand Prince Karl Franz is the current Emperor of The Empire and Elector Count of Reikland. Volkmar von Hindenstern, known more famously as Volkmar the Grim, was the Grand Theogonist of the Church of Sigmar.
Vampires and Vampire Hunters
The Warhammer world is also home to vampires and vampire hunters. Genevieve Dieudonné is a vampire of the Lahmian bloodline, considered a heroine of the Empire and the lover, companion, and later wife of the actor, poet, and playwright Detlef Sierck. Rudolf Kohl landed his crusading army by mistake in Nehekhara and would later establish the order of Myrmidian Vampire hunters, the Priory of the Spear.
Other Notable Figures
Other notable figures in the Warhammer world include Durkol, one of Da Immortulz, a trusted band of Black Orc warriors who have spent many years fighting in the name of Grimgor Ironhide. Shen Tsinge is a black-furred beast, trained in the arts of stealth by Clan Eshin, taken as a bodyguard to Lustria. Detlef Sierck is arguably the greatest actor, producer, and playwright of The Empire, and the lover and companion of Genevieve Dieudonné.
These individuals, along with many others, have shaped the course of history in the Warhammer world, forging empires, leading armies, and battling against the forces of darkness.
