The Sabbat Worlds Crusade: The Blood Pact Threat – Part 12

“Valor and Determination: Turning Tides in the 41st Millennium”

In the grim darkness of Warhammer 40,000, the 41st Millennium was a time of relentless warfare. During the years 773 to 775, one of the most fascinating and pivotal events unfolded on the blood-soaked battlegrounds of KH3. The protagonist of this tale is none other than Lord General Bullin, a figure renowned for his caution and focus. Bullin found himself in a deadly dance of war against the notorious Majest Sheel Redhand, a monster who left a trail of burning worlds in his wake.

Despite Redhand’s reputation, the Imperials had one clear advantage – their foe lacked organization and discipline. Bullin, a seasoned tactician, exploited this flaw ruthlessly. When their forces clashed, Bullin, supported by two separate armored brigades, tore open a gap in the enemy lines. With foot companies from two Astra Militarum regiments, he flanked Redhand’s forces, sending the Majest into a panic.

The ensuing heavy tank battle was one for the annals of the 41st Millennium. Bullin’s three battalions of troopers, bolstered by Titan support, pressed in. Majest Sheel Redhand found himself fleeing to the islands, only to be surrounded by an armored brigade under the command of Bullin himself. Though tales suggest that Bullin vanquished Redhand in personal combat, the truth remains clouded in speculation and hearsay. Regardless, Redhand met his ultimate fate on that high ground, marking a significant victory for the Imperials.

However, this triumph was just the beginning of a 22 solar month-long intense battle against the persistent enemy forces. It was during the year 773 of the 41st Millennium that the turning point occurred, not on the grand stages of renowned clash zones, but on the seemingly insignificant planet of Heror.

Despite its lack of tactical importance, Heror held a spiritual significance. It was one of the holy worlds visited by St Sabbat Beati during her original crusade. The planet attracted Majest Enoch in Oen, who may have sought to prevent the miraculous event that was about to unfold there.

Commanded by Lord General Lugo, an Astra Militarum force, aided by the local PDF, occupied the sacred Balner Shrine. As the assault began, a raven-haired woman from Hagia emerged from the Imperial citizenry. She claimed to be the reincarnation of St Sabbat Beati, a claim initially met with skepticism. However, it soon became apparent that the extraordinary truth was far more compelling.

This woman, whose origins remain shrouded in mystery, took on the mantle of the Beati. She became the living embodiment of St Sabbat, exhibiting powers beyond the realm of the average mortal. Her holy presence stirred the resolve of the Imperial forces, rallying them against the enemy. The living Saint and her army routed the enemy forces, slaying the wicked Majest.

This victory coincided with the War Master Macaro’s triumph on the fortress world of Morland. The news of the reborn Saint spread, inspiring the Crusade ranks to push forward and deny the arch enemy any further advances. Only the forces of Magister Anoir CK managed to maintain any form of cohesion in the face of these Imperial victories.
