What happened with Primarchs before Emperor found them? – Part 8

In the sprawling cosmos of Warhammer 40,000, the tales of the Primarchs stand as monumental sagas of heroism, tragedy, and epic quests. Today, we delve into the stories of Sanguinius, Feris Manus, and Angron, each bearing their unique narratives in the grand tapestry of the Warhammer universe.

Sanguinius, the Angelic Primarch of the Blood Angels, was a figure of awe-inspiring beauty and strength. His first meeting with the Emperor was shrouded not in the spectacle of grandeur, but in humility. He sought an audience alone, kneeling and praying for the lives of his followers on Baal Secundus, a world untouched by the Imperium’s influence. The Emperor, recognizing the rare talents and unwavering loyalty of Sanguinius, granted his request. From then on, no Imperial ship dared to set foot on Baal Secundus, except at the express command of Sanguinius.

On the harsh planet of Medusa, Feris Manus, the Gorgon, discovered his roots through the Mark 10 on his arrival capsule. This discovery led him to awaken a colossal biomechanical wormlike creature and set him on a path of relentless determination. Ignoring the nearby settlements, he pursued the beast, vowing to destroy the creature he had unintentionally unleashed. His journey took him through trials that forged his strength, culminating in a battle with a metallic beast, Aseno, whose molten flesh fused with Feris’ hands, granting him metallic limbs. Eventually, he returned to the tribes of Medusa, imparting his knowledge and leading the clans to unimaginable progress. His reunion with the Emperor was a test of strength, a duel that reshaped the terrain of Medusa, and led to his ascension as the leader of the 10th Legion.

The tale of Angron, however, is one steeped in blood and strife. His pod landed on Nyria, a planet known for its gladiatorial games designed to placate the masses. Upon his arrival, he was met by Eldar, foretelling the bloodshed that the young Primarch would bring. Angron’s first encounter was a battle for survival, his bare feet sprinting through the snow, pursued by creatures of an unknown tongue. His victory was not just a triumph over his hunters but a turning of the tables, the roles reversing from hunted to hunter. Yet, even amidst the exhilaration of victory, exhaustion took hold, leaving the young boy kneeling in the snow, setting the stage for the saga of Angron, the Slave of Nyria.

In the grand narrative of Warhammer 40,000, these tales of the Primarchs serve as monumental chapters. Their journeys, trials, and triumphs shape the universe and etch their legacy into the annals of Warhammer lore. As we continue this series, we will explore more tales of these titanic figures, each adding their unique stroke to the vast canvas of this grand epic.

Stay tuned for the next installment, where we further delve into the labyrinthine tales of the Primarchs. Until then, remember – In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war!
