In the grim darkness of the 41st millennium, the Silver Skulls stand as unyielding defenders of humanity. Their armor, adorned with a stylized silver skull, is a symbol of their unwavering commitment to protect the Imperium from the threats that lurk in the shadows.

A Legacy of Honor

The Silver Skulls were forged during the Second Founding, in the aftermath of the Horus Heresy. Originally based on the planet Lyria, they were forced to enact the sanction of Exterminatus to prevent the world from falling under the control of the forces of Nurgle. This drastic measure rendered Lyria a Dead World, and the Silver Skulls relocated to the planet Varsavia in the Ultima Segmentum.

Varsavia: A Bastion Against the Unknown

Located on the border of the Segmentum Obscurus, Varsavia is a stronghold against the xenos threats that plague the Imperium. The Silver Skulls have fought numerous battles against the Dark Eldar and Necrons, and continue to patrol the nearby Gildar Rift. This thankless duty has earned them a reputation as one of the most active and resilient Chapters in the Imperium.

Shield of Ultramar

As one of the 10 Shield Chapters of Ultramar, the Silver Skulls have been instrumental in defending the Imperium against the forces of Chaos. They have fought on multiple fronts, including the Great Rift, and have been named as one of the most active Chapters in the fight against the forces of darkness.

Notable Battles and Campaigns

• The Corinth Crusade: The Silver Skulls joined forces with other Space Marine Chapters and Imperial Guard Regiments to defeat Waaagh! Skargor and delay the invasion of Waaagh! Argluk.
• The Great Malagantine Purge: The Silver Skulls were part of a group of five Space Marine Chapters ordered to cleanse the Malagantine Sector of unknown threats.
• The Third War for Armageddon: The Silver Skulls deployed seven companies of Space Marines to fight against the Orks.
• The Zeist Campaign: The Silver Skulls provided tactical squads to fight for the liberation of Augura.
