In the grim darkness of the 41st Millennium, a tale of metallic determination and cold-blooded decisions unfurls. It is a tale of Magos Dominus Faustinius, or F, as he is commonly known, a tech-priest from the Forge World of Metallica.
Our tale begins on a world already colonized by the metallic tech-priests. When offered the chance to witness the cleansing of the planet from life, the conclave of tech-priests rejected the offer. In response, Margos F embarked on a swift, brutal, and merciless onslaught. Despite resistance from the Margos and Vortx, they were powerless against F’s deliberate infliction of damage.
With the planet’s chronostasis field destabilized, F launched a cyclonic torpedo, causing a catastrophic explosion that annihilated the planet. It had become an obstacle in the path to perfection. On Night Prime, F destroyed the life-giving solar batteries, plunging the planet into eternal darkness and killing 97% of the population.
On Sanv, the Adepto Auroritas held out against the raids of Chaos forces in the ruins of their cathedral. F’s arrival gave them hope. But midway through the battle, F discovered that the soil contained a troubling form of silic life, nearly impossible to eradicate. He chose to abandon his allies, continuing his crusade.
F’s methods didn’t sit well with everyone. The Knights of House Raven disapproved of his actions. They aided him thrice, each time horrified by the results. One of the knights renounced his heraldic symbols to stop F, but his fate remains unknown.
The Fabricator General of Metallica warned that if F ever targeted Imperial worlds again, he would have to be restrained. But F headed deeper into the Orkish Empire of Charadon, leaving the Mechanicum to breathe a sigh of relief.
In the year 444 of the 41st Millennium, Armageddon, a hive world crucial to the entire sector, faced a threat of unimaginable size. Chaos Space Marines and demons led by Demon Primarch Angron swarmed the skies. The armies of mankind responded swiftly. Alongside the regiments of the Astra Militarum and the chapters of the Adeptus Astartes, the Armageddon regiments and the Metallica Mechanicum formed an united front.
When the larger Imperial forces established a defensive line, the Mechanicum ventured into the equatorial jungles to slow the enemy’s advance. They clashed with the forces of Chaos Lord Garrox in an intense battle that claimed many lives on both sides. The Mechanicum’s stratagem ultimately led to Garrox’s downfall, buying precious time for the successful defense of Armageddon.
But the wars of Armageddon weren’t the only trouble brewing. After the emergence of the Great Rift, the Kidon Sector became a crucial gateway to the larger Imperium Sanctus. Situated within reach of one of the few stable channels traversing the raging warp, it held a stronghold of the Adeptus Mechanicus’s authority.
Thus, the tale of F’s ruthless quest for perfection and the battles against the forces of chaos continues, painting a vivid picture of the grim and brutal reality of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Stay tuned for more.
