Rebirth from Ashes
The Imperial Fists, one of the most revered Space Marine Chapters, teetered on the brink of extinction. Their Chapter Master, Koorland, fell to the merciless claws of The Beast during the second invasion of Ullanor. However, Maximus Thane, the unyielding Chapter Master of the Fists Exemplar, refused to let the legacy of the Imperial Fists fade into oblivion. He orchestrated a daring rebirth, rallying the strength of the Imperial Fists’ Second Founding Successors to rebuild the Chapter.
A New Era
Thane assumed the mantle of Chapter Master, guiding the resurgent Imperial Fists with unwavering resolve. The Imperium remained unaware of the Chapter’s near-destruction and subsequent resurrection. As the dust settled, Thane spearheaded the final invasion of Ullanor, eradicating the Beast-class Orks and securing a crucial victory. In the aftermath, he decreed that the Imperial Fists would abandon their sentinel duties on Terra, opting instead for a Crusade against the enemies of humanity aboard the mighty Phalanx.
Power Struggles
As the Imperium navigated treacherous waters, the High Lords of Terra succumbed to the machinations of Drakan Vangorich, Grand Master of the Officio Assassinorum. Vangorich, now the de facto ruler, allowed Thane to pursue his campaign against the remnants of The Beast’s forces. However, as the years passed, Vangorich’s instability grew, and Thane recognized the need for intervention. He assembled a formidable strike force, comprising 400 Space Marines from the Imperial Fists, Halo Brethren, and Sable Swords, to bring an end to Vangorich’s reign.
Recent Conflicts
Throughout the ages, the Imperial Fists have remained steadfast in their duty to protect humanity. From the battles against the Orks on Malla Vajjl to the siege of the Ecclesiarchal Palace on Terra, the Chapter has consistently demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the Imperium. Notable campaigns include the Dawn Hammer, the Aridan Defence, and the Siege of Balle Alpha, where the Imperial Fists successfully defended a capital city against an Ork Waaagh!
