Warriors of the Realms: A Gathering Storm

The Mortal Realms are home to a diverse array of warriors, each with their own unique stories and motivations. From the Freeguild soldiers who fight for the freedom of their cities to the Seraphon who ride into battle on the backs of mighty Carnosaurs, every warrior has a role to play in the ongoing struggle against Chaos.

The Freeguild

• Commander Ellendor: A former corporal of the Coldguard Regiment of Excelsis, Ellendor helped save the city from destruction and now works alongside the Witch Hunter Hanniver Toll.
• Captain Seguin Reynar: A Freeguild captain who led a group of deserters into the cursed city of Shadespire in search of plunder.
• Dhurgan: A hillsman from the Realm of Ghur who joined the Freeguild and later entered the cursed city of Shadespire with his former Captain, Seguin Reynar.

The Duardin

• Runefather Durnir-Grimnir: The Runefather of the Hermdar lodge, Durnir-Grimnir saved the Seven Crystal Cities from Chaos but was betrayed by the cities’ lords. He now seeks vengeance against those who wronged him.
• Forgun: A legendary Runefather of the Vostarg lodge, Forgun sacrificed his birthright to lead the Chosen Axes and seek redemption for the city of Shadespire.
• Kragnir: A member of the Chosen Axes warband, Kragnir is stuck in the Shadespire and seeks a way out.

The Seraphon

• Kroak: A Saurus Scar-Veteran Seraphon from the Fangs of Sotek Constellation, Kroak rides into battle on the back of a Carnosaur and leads the host of warriors and reptilian beasts that the constellation is made of.
• Zectoka: A Slaan Starmaster who summons the Fangs of Sotek Constellation into battle, Zectoka is a powerful and mysterious figure.

The Kharadron Overlords

• Barak-Zilfin: An Admiral from Barak-Zilfin who transported Hanniver Toll to the lost city of Xoantica in pursuit of Ortam Vermyre.
• Grundstock: A Master Gunner who organized the Grundstock clan into the Grundcorps, equipping them with the Gunhauler fighter craft.

The Idoneth Deepkin

• Volturnos: The High King of the Idoneth Deepkin, Volturnos is a wise and just ruler who seeks to protect his people from the dangers of the Mortal Realms.
• Arika Zenthe: A Fleetmaster of the Eternity of Torment, Arika is a member of the Twilight Cabal and seeks to escape her father’s tyranny.

These are just a few examples of the many warriors who fight for survival in the Mortal Realms. Each has their own unique story and motivations, but all share a common goal: to survive in a world torn apart by Chaos.
